I admit I was skeptical at first...

But it turned out to be a great flash. What made it hard for me to review this objectively was the fact that I had viewed JonBro's flash several times before, and had it fresh in my mind.

But I digress.

This was very well done, and despite having the same plot, you had a completely different storytelling style. Whereas JonBro did a montage, you had one run with many events. Personally, I preferred the montage, which removed the limitations on action that you set for yourself by doing one run, but you still managed to make it funny and interesting.

I can say that you did a better job than JonBro on the ending. While his was very similar to the original flash (angry face and kick off cliff), you did something very different, and the ending (I won't spoil it) was hilariously ironic.

But, ultimately, when you look past the similarities, comparing your flash and JonBro's flash is like comparing apples and oranges. You each went your own direction, and each created hilarious and re-watchable flashes. To say whose was better would be nearly impossible for me.

Rest assured you did an excellent job.

Awesome animation!!! but...

This is an awesome animation, but I wish you wouldn't have added that waffle sex scene at the end. Granted, it is funny, but not as funny as most of the other scenes, which rely on absurdity and surreality rather than crude humor. In fact, it just feels like it doesn't belong.

Also, because of that scene, I can't share it with the rest of my family because of that one scene.

If possible, could you submit a version of this flash with a G-rated replacement scene? It would make your flash accessible to a wider audience.

Foamy's rants are humorous.

But given how there's barely any animation to be seen, it would seem more fitting if he were a star on the audio portal. I say, save server space, and just submit the audio alone. That's the only element that makes the Foamy series so popular, anyway.

Or, you could take some time to work on your animation skills. For starters, give him a mouth. And add some moving backgrounds as he paces back and forth. Try to make it visually appealing.

Either way, the fact that Foamy flashes have little in the way of animation leads me to give you an average score. Many flash artists can pull this kind of stuff off easily and, with a little more effort, better. It's time to up your game.

OH LOOK I HAVE AN OPINION! LET'S ALL RATE MY REVIEW USELESS BECAUSE YOU DON'T AGREE WITH ME!

(Hey, Foamy should do a rant on that.)

Very addicting to watch.

The remix is very catchy for me, and despite the lack of effort in the flash, the result is very entertaining. My one big complaint is that it's too short.

ALL HAIL HYPNOTOAD

Our Master Hypnotoad has deemed this flash worthy of viewing. There are many enjoyable shorts which our Master enjoys greatly. He does not find that the sub-par shorts bog down the flash to any signifigant degree.

ALL HAIL HYPNOTOAD!

Not the most accurate synopsis...

But still fucking hilarious, nevertheless.

Things you missed:

The Janitor from Scrubs interrogates Indiana.

They fell down THREE waterfalls.
"They started falling, and they were like whoa, and then they went whoa, and then they went whoa again."

Shia LaBeouf is a douchebag.

Can't...stop...watching...

I've been watching this flash every day (sometimes twice a day) and I never cease to be entertained. Well done.

A series with much potential, somewhat unfulfilled

The animation is quality has been consistently good so far. And the background work has noticably improved, with your decision to switch to Photoshop. Most importantly, the storyline is very engaging. The one thing that ultimately makes or breaks a series is the one thing you've excelled at. The reincarnation theme was a creative solution for explaining the discontinuity in the LoZ series.

I do have one big criticism, however: The voicework. Volume is inconsistent, quality is fuzzy at times, and some characters even change their manner of speaking between two consecutive lines of dialogue (the most noticable being Diggs). Since the first episode, voiceover work has lowered the overall quality of your flash. My advice for this problem is to get fellow Newgrounders to do the voices and send them to you.

Again, I have great expectations for this series, and I want to see this series become as good as it can, and then some. I hope you take my review into consideration, and I can't wait to see the continuation of this series.

"Stop chasing me, I'm a penguin." :D

You are a comic genius. I've only seen two of your animations now, including this one, but both were so good, I decided you had to be on my favorites. So... you are. Woohoo!

In case you're wondering, the other was Not-The-Final Fantasy XII.

Excellent as usual.

However, I think you should know that, in certain scenes, the console vanishes. You probably should fis that if you plan to re-upload this. Other than that, I loved it. I especially enjoyed the reference to the first episode with the walking pair boobs.

The-Swain responds:

Do you mean at certain angles? (like from far away) I was very careful about that, as I hate making additions to old scenery, and I just checked now and the console doesn't, in fact, disappear at any point but the end when it goes back down. Also, when looking through the monitor at the Mastermind we don't see the console, because that's where the camera is.
